Development of Labour Force Supply up to 2025
The study provides background information on strategies to extend the employment of older workers, particularly on the future development of the overall quantitative and qualitative supply of workers (structure broken down by age, gender, migration background, education) up to 2025. The focus is on whether a shortage will occur in some skill areas over time. In this connection, the study also investigates the impact of the old-age pension reform and of migration on future changes in the structure of the work force, broken down by age, gender and skills.
