Climate change is already affecting agricultural production. This also addresses issues of food security. Agricultural production methods can be adapted to climate change, as can consumer behaviour, for example in terms of healthy nutrition and avoiding food waste. These adaptations can also help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The debate on climate change, agriculture and nutrition is often controversial. This study summarises the current state of knowledge and provides a basis for evidence-based and climate-effective decision-making in agriculture and among consumers.
