The Economy in the Austrian Länder. Fourth Quarter 2018
The Austrian economy continued to grow strongly in 2018. The robust growth path was based on a broad sectoral basis, which results in significant employment growth and declining unemployment. From a regional perspective, however, the growth patterns appear rather heterogeneous, with pronounced growth rates in the southern region.
