Technical Support for the Development of II. Pension Pillar Module and Long-term Care Modules in a Dynamic Microsimulation Model for Slovenia
For over a decade, the Slovenian Institute of Economic Research (IER) has been developing, applying and expanding a dynamic pension microsimulation model (DyPenSI), which is now widely used to support ministries and other stakeholders in assessing the sustainability and adequacy of pension reforms. In the current project, WIFO is providing technical support for developing a second pension pillar module and a long-term care module. DyPenSI is based on the same technical platform as the internationally comparative microWELT model and its detailed Austrian counterpart, microDEMS, which are both developed and maintained at WIFO.
