FIW Retreat 2025

The FIW Retreat 2025 was organized with the goal of strengthening the connections between FIW-affiliated PhD students and senior researchers. During this annual event, participating doctoral students presented the current state of their dissertation projects and discussed their research findings with FIW-affiliated economists and university professors.

The retreat provides a valuable platform for academic exchange and constructive feedback, helping PhD students further develop their research. At the same time, this initiative aims to contribute to the establishment of a strong Austrian "Trade Group," fostering international collaboration and enhancing the quality of research in the field of international economics.

Through this event, FIW emphasizes its role as a central platform for supporting young researchers and building a robust network in Austrian trade and economic research.
