Integrated global change studies with focus on the bio-economy often do not explicitly address types and sources of uncertainty
and their propagation throughout the modelling framework. We aim to close this gap by identifying and applying sound and efficient
methods to trace these uncertainties, and taking into account stakeholder needs and adequate communication methods. We aim
at providing valuable information on robust policy interventions for decision makers in the bio-economy.
