The value of agricultural production and value-added posted a strong increase; income from agriculture also developed favourably. Gross revenues increased by 6\u00bd percent on average, but the regional disparities were unusually high. The value of production stagnated in Salzburg, Carinthia, and in Styria, but recorded high increases in Upper Austria (14 percent) and in Vorarlberg (19 percent).
