The farmers could profit from favourable demand conditions in central markets. The development was more differentiated by region than usual. Given an average increase in gross revenue by 5 percent, the dispersion of growth rates went from +10\u00bd percent in Tyrol to \u20135\u00bd percent in Burgenland. Generally losses in vegetable production hit above all the eastern regions.
