Sie wird von der verhaltenen Konjunkturerholung in Westeuropa getragen. Sehr schwach entwickelt sich hingegen die Inlandsnachfrage. Die Netto-Masseneinkommen sind in realer Rechnung r\u00fcckl\u00e4ufig, und nur eine weitere Verringerung der Sparquote erlaubt eine Stabilisierung der Konsumausgaben. Dennoch hat sich der Leistungsbilanzsaldo im I. Quartal gegen\u00fcber dem Vorjahr deutlich verschlechtert. Eine genauere Analyse wird durch das Fehlen detaillierter Au\u00dfenhandelsdaten erschwert.
