The development of the economy is still based on a broad foundation, which limits the influence of the structural component on regional economic development. This has the effect of reducing differences in the regional economic picture. In the second half of the year, all L\u00e4nder still achieved significant employment gains, with figures ranging between +2.9 percent in Styria and +1.7 percent in Carinthia. The \"large\" industrial L\u00e4nder of Styria and Upper Austria continue to lead the growth ranking. However, regional disparities have diminished and hardly follow any clear geographical or sectoral logic.
