The benefit levels calculated in the study amount to an average of 210 \u20ac in the form of direct cash benefits and 118 \u20ac in the form of tax relief per child and month. The study also calculates the different benefit levels for households depending on the number and age of the children, the household composition and the income levels of the parents. The workings of different family benefits is examined using simulations for hypothetical families.
