It is based on micro-aggregated data for the period from 2008 to 2018, which confirm both a large heterogeneity between individual companies and numerous systematic differences, determinants and effects. Examples are economies of scale in production, a higher average productivity growth of young companies or the great importance of the reallocation of shares of production in favour of companies with high productivity.
