According to the report, greenhouse gas emissions increased again in 2019 (+1.5 percent) after decline in 2018 (\u20133.75 percent). Greenhouse gas emissions increased less than gross domestic energy consumption (+2 percent). Nevertheless, the general trend still lacks a decoupling of greenhouse gas emissions from economic development (+1.5 percent).
