Only in sectors directly or indirectly affected by COVID-19 containment measures the sentiment indicators remained gloomy. The WIFO-Konjunkturampel (economic traffic light) shows green and signals a turnaround in the economy and a beginning economic upturn. Accordingly, capacity utilisation improved significantly.
