Selected indicators for the transformation of the economic system are presented and placed in the context of national environmental and climate policy. This material forms the background of an evaluation matrix, in which measures that are implemented or discussed in the course of coping with the COVID-19 crisis are assessed on the basis of experts' assessments. The effects of measures are evaluated with regard to the following target dimensions: domestic employment, value added, climate adaptation and climate protection as well as energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. Since the effects depend on the respective context and cannot be considered in isolation from other, complementary or inhibiting factors, the evaluation briefly outlines the basis for the assessment.
