However, there is no clear definition of which sectors are upstream of construction and which trade sectors are included. This study, which goes beyond the conventional delimitation and takes into account not only the core construction sector but also the upstream input sectors and the relevant trade sectors, attempts to provide some initial insight into a \"extended\" construction sector.
