The WIFO Business Climate Index stood at 5.6 points (seasonally adjusted), 1.4 points above the value of the previous month (4.2 points). The increase is primarily due to the improvement in situation assessments. The situation index rose by 2.8 points to 10.3 points. Business uncertainty remained above average.
