In 2025, a total of 9,627 events took place in Vienna with nearly 881,000 participants, accounting for 12.7 percent of the region's total volume with approximately 2.5 million overnight stays. Taking into account both, the expenditures of the participants and the expenses of organizers, Vienna's meetings industry generated a contribution to the overall economy (direct, indirect, and induced) of 1.48 billion \u20ac in nominal gross value added in 2025, as well as 19,300 jobs or 16,020 full-time equivalents throughout Austria.
