Jedoch legen die Ergebnisse der in Kooperation mit dem B\u00fcro des Produktivit\u00e4tsrates durchgef\u00fchrten WIFO-Industriebefragung 2025 nahe, dass sich die Effekte chinesischer Konkurrenz auf \u00f6sterreichische Unternehmen in j\u00fcngerer Vergangenheit ver\u00e4ndert haben. Eine rezente Studie des B\u00fcros des Produktivit\u00e4tsrates zeigt, dass stark von Zuw\u00e4chsen chinesischer Konkurrenz betroffene \u00f6sterreichische Unternehmen im Zeitraum 2013-2022 nicht intensiver Besch\u00e4ftigung abbauten oder Verlagerungen von Unternehmensbereichen ins Ausland vollzogen als andere Unternehmen. Demgegen\u00fcber geben in der aktuellen Industriebefragung besonders von chinesischer Konkurrenz betroffene Unternehmen wesentlich h\u00e4ufiger an, im Zeitraum 2025-2030 Verlagerungen ins Ausland und einen Abbau von Besch\u00e4ftigung (insbesondere Produktionsarbeitspl\u00e4tze) in \u00d6sterreich zu planen. Die \u00f6sterreichische Industrie scheint somit durch die Konkurrenz aus China am aktuellen Rand st\u00e4rker unter Druck zu geraten.
