The macroeconomic effects of the different scenarios were modelled using the WIFO-ADAGIO (A DynAmic Global Input Output Model) model and include value added and employment effects at the sectoral level as well as the effects on the development of gross domestic product. The most important conclusion of the study is undoubtedly that Austria's security of supply can best be ensured by a well-diversified procurement strategy that does not allow dependence on individual suppliers to develop in the first place.
