Country Reports"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-419559","publication","type-publication","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":{"subtitle":"","text":"At its 98th conference, organised by CRESME Ricerche in Milan on 3 December 2024, Euroconstruct presented its winter forecast on the development of the European construction markets. The current forecast confirms the renewed downturn in 2024, which is even slightly more pronounced than in the previous year. From a regional perspective, the Scandinavian countries and some Eastern European countries will be the hardest hit. Dampening factors include high construction costs and interest rates, albeit on a downward trend. The output in construction is expected to grow only slightly in 2025, with a more positive outlook from 2026. The Euroconstruct Country Report provides detailed information on construction market trends and fundamentals in each of the 19 Euroconstruct member countries until 2027. The forecasts and analysis are presented at country level and are based on a comparable, harmonised data set for the main construction sectors and indicators.
