This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the contractual elements of the EU's FTAs with Australia and New Zealand and to categorise them in terms of the economic inter-dependencies between the EU and Australia and New Zealand on the one hand, and in terms of their geoeconomic significance and the EU's economic and geopolitical objectives on the other. The core of the analysis is a model-based quantitative assessment of the expected long-term macroeconomic effects of these agreements at the sectoral level, based on specific scenarios and simulations of the extent of trade facilitation.
