Against this background, WIFO, in coordination with the AMS, has designed a \"Gender Equality Index Labour Market\", which bundles 30 indicators from four thematic fields \u2013 work, income, education and family \u2013 into one index to outline the labour market situation of women and men in an aggregated form. The indicators calculated for the four thematic fields capture the role of women and men on the labour market quantitatively, reflect their income and employment prospects, show the education and training structure for both genders as well as the reconciliation of family and work.
