The first part of the study examines the status quo of federal procurement as a whole \u2013 in terms of volume and structure \u2013 and analyses the effects in terms of value creation, employment and emissions. Including outsourced companies, the federal government's procurement volume in 2019 is estimated at over 25 billion \u20ac. The second part of the study looks at six key procurement areas \u2013 food, electricity, IT equipment, mobility, building construction and civil engineering \u2013 and draws up detailed impact scenarios for the naBe criteria.
