Interim Report","text":"This study analyses the transition to retirement in Austria from 2010 to 2022 and presents an analysis of the quantity and structure of entries to retirement by pension type, gender and company characteristics as well as age at retirement. It also analyses the duration and structure of employment gaps between the last job and retirement. Finally, the employment immediately before retirement or the employment gap is analysed to identify the labour market dynamics and employment patterns that shape the transition to retirement.
