These tables are consistently integrated into the WIOD system, which describes the supply and use of 63 goods in 43 countries. The resulting multiregional input-output system forms the basis for the analysis of the role of Austria's L\u00e4nder in global value chains and for a discussion of regional differences. The analysis of this input-output system reveals interregional linkages as an important driver of the regional distribution of export-induced value added, with Vienna being the strongest beneficiary of such regional spillovers.
