We match FFG and Aurelia data with social security data for the first time in order to generate a typology of publicly funded innovative firms and to create working conditions indicators on firm level. According to impact analysis results, publicly funded innovation activities determine the work force. Publicly funded innovative firms engage more workers, more men than women and more young skilled workers.
