Results of a Microeconometric Evaluation"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-119758","publication","type-publication","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":{"subtitle":"","text":"Socio-economic enterprises (Sozial\u00f6konomische Betriebe \u2013 S\u00d6B) and non-profit employment projects (Gemeinn\u00fctzige Besch\u00e4ftigungsprojekte \u2013 GBP) offer transitional jobs as well as accompanying training and socio-pedagogical support to unemployed job-seekers with placement difficulties. The main purpose is to stabilise and qualify them for later re-integration in the regular labour market. As implied by the results of a counterfactual impact evaluation, transitional employment in S\u00d6B or GBP on average strengthens labour force participation and enhances individuals' employment prospects significantly.
