In taking quantitative as well as qualitative criteria into consideration we focus on part-time employment, the skills level of the employees, the age structure of the workforce as well as on different subjective aspects of work satisfaction. Special emphasis is given to the retail sector and part-time working women in the age group of 45plus. In addition we analyse the group of trade apprentices and contrast their dynamics over the last 5 years with other industries.
