To complement the report's comparative analysis, a set of country profiles was also compiled for each of the EU 27 countries (except Slovakia and Malta), 13 other European countries, as well as the USA, Canada, Japan, China, South Korea, Singapore, Australia, Brazil, and Russia. Information was compiled by an extensive network of national experts as well as by an analysis which built upon these country profiles.
