Two thirds of the unpaid overtime hours were supplied by salaried workers, roughly a fifth by public servants and one eighth by blue-collar workers. Unpaid overtime hours are done mainly by occupational groups with a high qualification level. Men deliver unpaid overtime hours more often than women, but the overtime hours of women are more likely to remain unpaid. Full-time workers are more likely to carry out unpaid overtime hours than part-time workers. Unpaid overtime has risen between 2005 and 2009 \u2013 mainly due to the economic crisis, but maybe also due to a change in the questioning in the census.
