It is the update of a study prepared in the year 2004. In a first step the difference between the age distribution of the employees in the building and construction industry and the employed population is analysed. In a second step the employment development, the age distribution and the age at terminating the occupation in the building and construction industry is analysed. In a third step the focus is layed on those persons who terminate their work in the building and construction industry and retire.
