Using a number of indicators, the report pinpoints the socioeconomic groups that are most at risk of suffering unemployment, joblessness, poverty and marginalisation. The poverty risk of children and youths in Europe shows a clear north-south incline over their life. In order to improve their chances at the transition from school to the labour market it is necessary to improve the primary training system so as to enable them to integrate in the labour market.
