Changes in Occupations and Sectors 2010 to 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-116238","publication","type-publication","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":{"subtitle":"","text":"As basis for medium term predictions of the futur qualification demand the WIFO regularily produces forecasts of the developement of employment by occupations, sectors and gender. The current calculations cover the period 2010 to 2016 and offer a rich set of forecasts for 38 sectors and 57 occupations. On the level of the nine Laender we provide estimates for 38 sectors and 27 occupations. According to the estimates, employment will grow by 1 percent p.a. with a clear trend towards higher qualifications, to services and to costumer-oriented tasks.
