In addition to notable representatives of Harvard University and ETH Zurich, partner organisations include i.a. the National Institute of Social and Economic Research (NIESR) in London, the Centre d'Information et de Recherche sur L'Economie Mondiale (CIREM) in Paris, the Instituto Valenciano de Investigaciones Economicas (IVIE) in Valencia, the Zentrum f\u00fcr Europ\u00e4ische Wirtschaftsforschung (ZEW) in Mannheim, the Netherlands Bureau of Economic Policy Analysis (CPB) in The Hague, Etlatieto Oy in Helsinki, the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), the Institute for World Economics (VKI) in Budapest and the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies (wiiw). The 2011 report focuses on convergence of science-intense production, the European space industry, industrial raw materials and sustainable development, each in the context of European competitiveness and industrial policy. The summaries of the background reports are published in the annual report on European competitiveness.
