The investigation produced substantial quantities of data: indicators of the labour market situation in general and broken down by gender, and the agricultural accounts at the level of NUTS-3 regions. Models were used to quantify foreseeable effects through ex-ante analysis. If the programme had not been put in place, there would be up to 23,000 fewer non-farming jobs and regional output would be lower by up to \u20ac 1.4 billion. Moreover, farming would be marginalised in many regions.
