Im Getreidebau muss \u00d6sterreichs Landwirtschaft mit vermehrtem Angebots- und Preisdruck rechnen. Den Obst- und Weinbauern d\u00fcrfte die Erweiterung mehr Vorteile als Nachteile bringen, im Gem\u00fcse- und Gartenbau \u00fcberwiegen hingegen die Nachteile. F\u00fcr die Rinderhalter sind kurzfristig keine gr\u00f6\u00dferen Schwierigkeiten zu erwarten. Mittel- und l\u00e4ngerfristig besteht allerdings die Gefahr, Marktanteile an die allm\u00e4hlich erstarkende Konkurrenz aus den neuen EU-L\u00e4ndern zu verlieren. Die Folgen f\u00fcr die Milchbauern h\u00e4ngen prim\u00e4r vom weiteren Schicksal der EU-Milchmarktordnung ab. Den Schweine- und Gefl\u00fcgelhaltern bringt die Erweiterung kurz- und mittelfristig keine besonderen Probleme. L\u00e4ngerfristig k\u00f6nnten auch hier \u2013 wie schon bisher \u2013 Marktanteile an die Konkurrenten aus Westeuropa, eventuell auch aus dem Osten, verloren gehen.
