Zus\u00e4tzlich werden von zwei internationalen Organisationen (OECD und Eurostat) und der Schweizer R\u00fcck Versicherungskennzahlen f\u00fcr \u00d6sterreich ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Die unterschiedlichen Definitionen und Abgrenzungen dieser Statistiken sind an den speziellen Interessen der Institutionen ausgerichtet, nur unzureichend aufeinander abgestimmt und damit nur eingeschr\u00e4nkt vergleichbar. In der vorliegenden Studie wird eine m\u00f6glichst einheitliche Abgrenzung von Versicherungskennzahlen zwischen der Aufsichtsbeh\u00f6rde, dem VV\u00d6 und dem WIFO erarbeitet. Die hier beschriebenen und abgeleiteten Marktkennzahlen f\u00fcr das prim\u00e4re und sekund\u00e4re Versicherungsgesch\u00e4ft werden in der Folge in den regelm\u00e4\u00dfigen Beitr\u00e4gen zu den WIFO-Monatsberichten \u00fcber die Entwicklung der \u00f6sterreichischen Versicherungswirtschaft analysiert.
