WIFO has been established as a private non-profit association. Its ongoing business as well as its scientific activities is managed by Professor Karl Aiginger and his team: Bernhard Binder (deputy director, finances), Michael Peneder (deputy director, scientific coordination) and Franz Sinabell (deputy director, marketing and external contacts). The Supervisory Board of WIFO is made up of Christoph Leitl (president of the Supervisory Board and of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber), Professor Christoph Badelt (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien), Herbert Tumpel (vice president; president of the Federal Chamber of Labour) and other outstanding representatives of its main carrier organisations and the Austrian political, economic and academic community. > Members of the Board
