Die Konjunktur ist derzeit international wie in Österreich kräftig und dürfte ihren Schwung auch in den ersten Monaten 2018 beibehalten. Der österreichische Arbeitsmarkt erholt sich weiter, wenngleich die Arbeitslosigkeit anhaltend hoch ist. Das Inflationsdifferential zum Durchschnitt des Euro-Raumes bleibt bestehen.

Economic activity is currently buoyant globally as well as in Austria and is expected to maintain its momentum also in the first few months of 2018. The Austrian labour market continues to recover, although unemployment remains high. The inflation differential vis-à-vis the euro area average persists.
